Christian comedian, singer and songwriter, Mark Lowry, with Lordsong and Stan Whitmire will be at the Dodge City Civic Center May 23rd at 7p.m.

Author of the song."Mary Did You Know", Mark has been entertaining for over 28 years. This would be an excellent opportunity to take your family to some quality entertainment with a message.

Tickets are on sale by calling 620-873-2991 and at area Christian bookstores. Tickets are $17 in advance, $14 in groups of 15 or more, $14 for those over 60 and also those under 12.

     Thirty-one Freshmen and Sophomores of our parish are half way on their two year journey to receiving the Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Confirmation.  We invite their parents and the members of this communitee to join them on the feast of Pentecost, Sunday, May 11, at the 10:30 a.m. Mass, as they commit themselves to continue on this journey, promise to prepare to the best of their ability, and ask us to become actively involved in their formation.  Please keep these young men and women in your thoughts and prayers as they discern the gifts of the Holy Spirit and come to recognize Him working in their lives. 

     Confirmation is not just an individual sacrament, it is one that requires all us to help these young men and women grow in faith.  They need our prayers, yes, but they also need our faith experiences, our time, our understanding, and our love.  

     Please join us on the feast of Pentecost in encouraging them on their journey.
