Lenten Reconciliation Services will be held Sunday, March 21 at Offerle-  2 p.m., Spearville- 4 p.m., and Wright - 7 p.m.

Holy Week and Easter services will be held at Spearville at the following times:  Holy Thursday, 7 p.m., Good Friday, 7 p.m., Holy Saturday ( Easter Vigil) 9 p.m., and Easter Sunday, 9 a.m.

Fifteen youth and 6 adult chaperons attended the National Catholic Youth Convention held in Kansas City Nov. 19-21.  The diocese of Dodge City had 321 youth and adults attending.  The group was part of aproximatly 22,000 young men and women who attended the conference.  Another 17,000 youth from 17 countries around the world were able to log on and watch the main performances and speakers on a live streaming feed.

Christ Reigns was the theme for the weekend.  The youth were asked to Show Up, Step Up, and Step Out as they experienced their faith in word, song and interaction with the group.  Friday's activities began as Eucharistic adoration was held at the Sprint Center, and the procession then filled the streets of Kansas City as they marched from the Sprint Center the six blocks to the Convention Center.

Those attending from Spearville were:  Kamree Strecker, Devin Bailey, John Helfrich, Jake Gleason, Aaron  Gunkel, Trisha Hines, Tonya Hines, Janae Indiek, Emilly Tenbrink, Desirae Setzkorn, Jessica Lampe, Weston Stein, Alyson Stein, Elizabeth Stein and Mitchell Stein.  They were accompanied by Pam Strecker- Schulte, Melvin Stein, Bonnie Laudick, Renelda Hornung, Judy Gleason, and Fr. Ted Stoecklein.
